Sharon’s Doodle titled “Together As One” highlights the importance of addition and acceptance, and was influenced by her personal experiences along with friendship and her strong dedication to spreading kindness. Let’s become familiar with this year’s Doodle for Search engines winner:
You’re in fifth grade now, but you entered the particular contest last school year if you were in 4th grade. Exactly what inspired you to enter the 2020 competition?
My art instructor from school introduced us to the competition in 3rd grade, and in fourth grade I remembered the competition and asked my dad to get into my Doodle.
How did you come up with the concept for your Doodle?
I thought about my own experiences. People have not wanted to end up being my friend because of how I look, therefore i decided to draw what I do! Regardless of what people look like, you look inside and then decide if you want to be their buddy.
What does kindness mean to you?
Kindness to me way to not look at someone from the outside, yet look at their personality, and be available to their friendship.
Were you surprised when you had been chosen as a Doodle for Search engines finalist? What has it been such as for you?
Once i found out, I could feel my encounter turn red like a tomato, I used to be so excited! I was already thrilled that I was one of the five nationwide finalists and it still didn’t really feel real. I was so happy, mother and father told me during school which was a large surprise! It’s made me a much more confident!
Exactly what does winning mean for you and your artwork?
I think successful will affect my view on artwork by giving my art more of the meaning. When I made my Design it had a meaning and I actually want to do this with all my art!
